What information is collected
When you use the enquiry form, the information you enter is collected: your name, email address, and optionally your telephone number, business name and location, together with the message you write. If you email or telephone instead, the details you provide in that contact are collected in the same way.
This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for the website to function are used, as described in the cookie policy.
Why your information is used
Enquiry information is used to reply to you, discuss photography or visual branding for your business, prepare a quotation and keep a record of our conversation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send. Where we go on to work together, the information is used to perform that contract and to meet accounting obligations.
Your details are never sold, and you will not be added to a marketing list from an enquiry alone.
Who your information is shared with
Enquiries are stored securely in the website's hosted database and are emailed to Katie so she can reply. Those service providers process the data on our behalf under contract and do not use it for their own purposes. Information may be disclosed where we are legally required to do so.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years to meet accounting and legal requirements.
Photography and client images
Photography created for a client business is used only as agreed with that client. Photographs of people, salons or pets are not published on this website or used as portfolio or marketing material without permission from the business concerned.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask for your information to be deleted or its use restricted, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
