I am Katie, the founder of Rise With Design, and before I ever began building this business I spent 10 years working professionally as a dog groomer.
That matters because I understand the environment I am walking into.
I understand that dogs do not pose on command, that a grooming day rarely runs perfectly to schedule and that the smallest details in a finished groom can represent a huge amount of skill. I know what it is like to work hands on all day and then realise you still need to find something to post on social media that evening.
I also know the things another photographer may not immediately notice. The finish on a coat. The shape of a face. The transformation from before to after. The patience behind working with a nervous dog. The atmosphere in the salon when everything is flowing well.
Rise With Design brings that understanding together with my love of photography, art and design to create imagery that feels natural, personal and relevant to the pet grooming industry.
